We had the chance to go river rafting in the Cagayan De Oro river. I liked rafting, since the first time I tried it. On my very first rafting adventure, we flipped on the very first rapid. It was a more or less 10 foot drop. The guide picked us up far from where we fell. I thought that was my end. And so the others on my boat had the same thought. And I can say that this is my second life now. I don't know but from then on, I've loved river rafting. I already did several rafting adventures in the rivers of California. My experience at the Cagayan De Oro river can be compared to one of my adventures at the North American River in California. The rapid was a little bit level 2 and level 3. There's not much fun in the rapids, but there is fun in the sidetrips that we did. Jumping on bridge was nice. He he wala bitaw ko niambak. And crossing the water on the tunnel was fun. Watching and trying to catch snakes was quite an experience also. It was my first time also to go to Bukidnon... he! he! the other side of the river is Bukidnon and we had our lunch on that side.
I hope to do someday the higher level rapids on this river... or maybe go farther south, in Davao to do tubing ang raftings.
