Pass the Cheer

I got my very first sticker for this year!

I woke up early today because i have to get out of the office at 5PM for an appointment with my dentist. Hopefully my dental braces will be removed today :)

On the way to the office i thought that I would drop by starbucks at i2 to get hot chocolate and a banana loaf for my breakfast. I got to IT Park early because traffic was very light. The corner of Escario and Osmena streets is almost empty, maybe because school has not started yet.

When I got to i2, i ordered my hot choco and banana loaf. First thing that I've noticed is that the whole store is already in red and green theme. Right, Christmas is here! Then the barista asked me if I am interested with their "Pass the Cheer" promo. Of course, I did it last year so I would do it again this year :) This time, they have a bookmark (it contains the details of the promo) and the booklet (for the stickers). For those not familiar with this promo, the mechanics is very simple. You buy a drink from starbucks and for every drink you'll get a sticker that they'll paste on a "pass the cheer" booklet. You have to complete 24 stickers and then you would get in return a limited edition starbucks coffee planner. The promo starts today and will end on January 15, 2008.

For those willing to do it this year, on your 24th beverage and when you completed all the stickers, starbucks would be donating something in your name to Project SparkHope - a Starbucks and UNICEF partnership for providing sustainable early learning programs for underprivileged communites in the Philippines.
